I won..?

OMG!! I won! I won some car accessories!??

I was on my way to Joel's. He was driving, listening to 91.3fm and i was dreaming stoning in deep thoughts. Suddenly, he picked up his phone and looked at me;

Joel: "Dear, they're looking for the 9th lady caller, why don't you give them a call?"

Me: (Awaken from my deep thoughts) "Huh? What's the prize?"

Joel: "A goodie bag worth $180.. Try la.."

Me: "Ok lor.." (In My heart , i was telling myself i won't be so lucky)

1st try, busy...

2nd try, it rang and someone picked up!!!

It's the evening show DJ, Marilyn.

Marilyn: "Hi this is WKRZ, Marilyn. Who is this?"

Me: (Shaking from shock) "Jaimee..."

And from there, she asked my details and what i was doing at the time of call.. And she said,"Jaime, can you hold the line, we'll be on air in 2 mins time."

I FROZE!! WHAT?! I don't like to be on air..! With Joel's encouragement, i held on.. We turned the radio off, plugged Joel's phone to radio. I was talking 'live' on radio while Joel's listening to the whole conversation on his phone! I kept "er... erm.. duh.." throughout the conversation! I can't help it.. I'm scared la!!

Anyway, i got the answer right, thanks to Joel and won some stuffs from Stamford Tyres, TTS Eurocars and Nokia handsfree.. Till now, I still have no idea what i really won, guess i have to wait for the notification letter to come then i will know.. Lucky Lucky! :)

And finally, before we hung up, she asked whether i have any dedication.

Me: (Still overwhelmed with shock) "Erm... Say hi to my friends and tomorrow's my birthday."

Marilyn: "Happy Birthday! So what song would you like?"

Me: "Erm.. Trance?"

Off-air, she asked for my choice of song and we hung up.

Tru enough.. Before she left, she had me gushing with happiness..

Marilyn: "This is As the Rush Comes by Motorcycle, especially for Jaime. Happy 28th birthday!"

And this is not all, beside this unexpected surprise, i got myself something i always wanted but to much objection from my mom..

Yes! I've got myself a puppy!! My very own puppy!

Introducing Me and Joel's little bundle of joy..

It's a female mini schnauzer.. Born 03 Nov 2005. Will be collecting her soon..

This is the best i can do, the room's dimly lit to take a proper picture..

We've not name her yet.. We thought of a few but we're unsure about the names we had in mind.. Names like Schnappi (cute but don't seems to suit her), Kylie (too human), Chloe (too human), Zouk (too boyish) and Peanut (Cute but she's not brown, so she will be; Peanut, Black Peanut!).. And i'm running out of brain juice already!

Any suggestions? Please... Thank you!

I think this is one of my best birthday. I have won something (although it's not useful to me) on the eve of my birthday, my family and Joel are in good health, i will have a little bundle of joy of my own (my puppy), i have the almighty God who loves and look after me and i have a new job waiting for me..

What else can i ask for? Like what Pastor Mark said;

REJOICE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE TODAY AND NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW.

My festive seasons

This is what i've been doing for the past 10 days..

24 Dec 2005, Christmas eve
Went to pick Bandit up from Marcus.. All i can say is what an experience! Bandit kept whining.. Me and Joel really don't know how to pacify him.. Believe me, we tried all means.

His whining was really bad. So bad that me and Joel almost killed each other! Serious! Anyway, you will never understand what sort of pain we had to go through..

25 Dec 2005, Christmas
Woke up early this morning, sending Bandit in for boarding. Serene managed to get a boarding space for him.

Christmas morning, when we first woke up, he was okay. Look at him! So handsome and big!

He even gave Joel a morning kiss.. So sweet.. Other than that, don't understand what went wrong..

In the evening, we went to Serene Foo's place for dinner and presents exchange. This Christmas, Jane and Serene weren't there. Serene was in KL for business, excusable. Jane? She went to meet her other friends.. *haiz* Don't want to say her la.. Anyway, we had steamboat and played mahjong before leaving for Zouk.

It's Ferry Cortsen's night man! He's damn F**king GOOD!! Sweet!
