"I don't want your business!"

Started my Friday morning arguing with a very irresponsible MD! The MD of a certain security system company...

Actually the grudge started quite some time ago.. One fine day, my boss (Joel's bro) asked me to call them to check on the progress of our office security system. I did as told. I ended up calling them consecutively 3 days trying to figure out what arrangements has been made for us.. I was being pushed around by the MD and his staff! Would you be pleased with such service?? If you are, then you must be something wrong.. My calls were ignored and no efforts were made in returning my calls at all! After such an unpleasant incident, i stopped calling. It's a waste of our time.. *Time is $$$$$$$$*

Then yesterday (Thursday 28/10), my boss once again want me to call them.. "Oh my goodness! Called that bunch of freaks?! Are they still in business?" was my 1st thought.. Oh well, it's my duty to call so i have to made a call to.... *Haizzzzzzz*shaking my head profusely* the MD. With my previous unpleasant encounter with them, this time round, I WILL SHOW NO MERCY! Wa Ha Ha Ha... *grinning away*

Me: "This is Jaime. I want to know how are the arrangements (for our security system).."

MD: "I told my staff about it. You can call him and check."

Me: "I don't want to call him and he tells me to call you and check.. And what if he don't pick up?Who shall i call? You?"

MD: "Yes.."

Me: "But you don't pick up my call?! Like the last time, i called so many times, you never pick up and you also never return my calls..!"

MD: "I was busy.."

ME: "Wa.. So busy until you have no time to pick up your customer's calls? You sure anot.."
(Beginning to sound sarcastic! Hee Hee)

MD: "Yar.. (Sounded a bit embarrassed)"

Me: "Ok, i will give him a call.. But you better pick up my call!"
(Conversation ended here..)

After i hung up, i tried calling His STAFF.. Called twice and no one picked up again. I gave up..

The next morning (which is today), i called His STAFF using my mobile again..

Me: "This is Jaime. Your MD asked me to call you about the arrangements.."

Staff: "I don't know anything.. You gotta call him.."

Me: "Your MD asked me to call you and now you asked me to call him? What's going on man?"

Staff: "I don't know.. He never mention anything at all"
(At this point of conversation, he sounded very keen to hang up..)

Without hesistation, i called the MD on my mobile immediately..

Me: "I have given your staff a call. He say he knows nothing and he ask me to call you.."

MD: "I will check with my staff and call you back."

Me: "You call me back? You sure you will call me back? You keep saying this to me everytime and in the end you DON'T RETURN my call!"
(At this point, my voice is getting louder and louder! Yarrrr!)

MD: "I gotta talk to my staff 1st.."

Me: "Are you sure this is the kind of service provided by your company? Is your Company still open for business? We have already pay you guys and nothing is done here.. You guys cannot just collect the payment and not do nothing! No matter what, since we paid, we are your customers!"
(Getting very sarcastic every time my mouth opens.. Don't blame me, it's his service that S U C Ks!)

MD: "What do you mean by that?"

Me: "I'm your customer and i have a right to know when are you guys goging to solve our problems here.. We paid and you guys have done NOTHING!"
(It's seem like he don't understand me, that's why i keep repeating.)

MD: "Sorry, excuse me, i don't want your business!"

Me: "What do you mean you don't want my business? You've taken my $$$ and now you say you don't want my business? Your doors are open for business right? You mean you get to choose your customers?! Wa.. I didn't know that.. "
(Don't blame me! He's the MD and being an MD, you are supposed to calm your customers down and not get engaged into a heated argument, making matter worse.. Does this make sense to you?)

MD: "I don't want your business.. I don't want your business.. I don't want your business.."
( I was telling him off and he was telling me this all the while.. )

Me SURRENDER! Why? I can't get any sense into him because A ROBOT HAS NO SENSE TO THINK ON ITS OWN! A robot repeating himself... See what i mean?

Joel took over the conversation and still, no agreement from them.. What an A S S H O L E!

Being a PA-cum-Secretary, i have the right to protect my Company's interest and not let the Company be taken advantage of. I may have seem to gone a bit too overboard but you should be here and listen to what the MD has to say..

Well, my day might have been spoiled because of him but I BELIEVE HIS IS JUST AS BADDDDDDD or should i say WORSEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Woahhhh! :)

Arrival KBV @ approx. 0830am.
Transfer to hotel.
To book a longtail boat/speedboat to visit Poda Island and Miracle Beach.
Check-in hotel.
22JAN
To charter the speedboat to ourselves @ approx. 12,000baht.
To visit Maya Bay, Monkey Bay, Loh Dalam Bay, Nui Bay.
Activities: swimming, snorkelling & sunbathing.
23JAN
To charter speedboat or join a full day tour to Lanta Island.
Activities: swimming,snorkellin & sunbathing.
24JAN
Free @ leisure.
Suggestions: Rent a bike/boat to go other beaches, where we can walk over to another island when it's low tide! OR gallivanting on the streets of Krabi!
Depart KBV for SIN on Silkair (MI 735) 0625pm.
Arrival SIN @ approx. 0930pm.

I have not made any reservations yet, due i'm still looking out for promotion package or airfare, if there's any after October.

Krabi's departure date was tentatively agreed on 21-24 Jan 2005, due 21Jan2005 is a Public Holiday. Therefore one day leave is required for work/school. Due this is a so called "Group" holiday, everyone will be expected to participate every activities that will be organised there..

If you don't know how to swim, it's ok.. There will be people helping you or a life jacket to keep you floating.. If you can't ride a bike, it's ok.. We can always get someone to give you a ride or rent a pick-up.. If you can't take the sun, it ok.. Bring your sunblock, sunglasses, cap along!

Presently, there are 10 people on the list who are interested to go for this trip... They are:

Krabi

We're back from Krabi!

Krabi, the Land of many beautiful islands

Joel and Me are off to KRABI !!

Yeah! I'm off to Krabi with Joel and his brother & sis-in-law tomorrow morning..

I have been thinking about visiting Krabi since Silkair started flying there DIRECT!! :) It has beautiful WHITE sand beaches with clear turquoise waters.. And i will visit the legendary Koh Phi Phi! *grinning away*

If Krabi is good and economical for all, i will organise a trip year end, so we can all go snorkel or sunbathing together!!

Snowy Chia and Furbie Chia

Snowy in her little dress.. Every night she will have her dress up to keep her warm. She has very thin fur after the last grooming session.. The groomer shaved her bald because her fur are all tangle. Guess the groomer is just too lazy to do his/her job!! :(

Furbie and Snowy are Joel and family's precious "rascals"! Seeing them enjoy their life with Joel and family happily is such a comfort. The "Imperial Dogs" of the Chia family lived a better life than anyone of us! Every night air-con, comforter, meaty dinner, everyone in the family shower them with love, play with them, bathed and groomed weekly... Oh man! What a life!

Singaporeans are TONE DEAF!!!

Can't believe my eyes when Jeassea was elimated 2 weeks ago. And now it's David.. :(

WHAT'S WRONG SINGAPORE??? Why are all the talents voted out when the infamous untalented Jerry and Christopher are still in the competition?Watz up with your ears??? Oh yar, i forget.. Quite a number of SGPs are TONE DEAF!
(But i'm glad most of whom i know ain't tone deaf.)

Singapore Idol is getting from bad to worse.. Seeing the talents voted out one by one is so so disappointing.. *HAIZ*

Jerry Ong is no big talent to me. He may sing at his church but it doesn't mean that he is the best.. From the beginning, the 4 judges are not very fond of him. His "act cute" stunt doesn't impress me a bit and best of all, i see no improvement from him. Awww... Sorry, but i just don't like you Jerry! Awww....... :)

Christopher Lee? Boyish look, so what? He can't even control his pitches and his performance s u c k s..

(If either 1 is your friend, i'm sorry if i have offended you. But you gotta admit, they are not very talented..)

Can't blame their friends or fans. If i have a friend who's in SI's final, i will vote for him/her too. But when his/her talents turns from bad to worse, i will definitely not vote for him/her anymore! I will not be bothered by his/her appeal for more votes.. I will vote for the better ones instead..

SI is not just about SI anymore, it's about representing Singapore in the World Idol competition! 1st in the history of making Singapore.. :)

Oh... I'm so jealousss!!!

Saw my sec school classmate, Caihui, yesterday @ Citibank Heeren. I was doing some banking @ Citibank and as i was turning out from the entrance, Caihui standing there waiting for me! Scared me.. *whew*

Me: What are you doing here?!!!!!

Caihui: Saw this girl running from Heeren and thought she looked like you. So when i looked carefully, i realised it's really you! So how have you been?

Me: Me?Fine...Wait, are you married??

Caihui: No la. Wait, what about you?

Me: No rings, not married. Hehehe..

(It's funny asking your long-time-no-see friend, are you married, but who cares?! You don't see your friend for what, like say 5 years or longer, the 1st thing you will be anxious to know is, is she tied down anot.. If she's married, good for her! And if she's married, the next thing is, how many kids do you have?! Hahahaha.... Normal reaction, due alot of my friends are tying the knot, whereas i'm not! Relatives and long-time-no-see friends keep asking when am i getting married (Boring *Yawn*). Fate is here but Destiny is out of the house lei..How to get married?!)

We chatted for a while about what each other have been doing and, boy do she looked slim..! She used to be a bit "fleshy" but now, she's SLIM!! She's wearing a sleeveless executive strip dress, carrying a Gucci bag, very executive. In 1 word, she looked successful!

I have seen most of my classmates being successful. My definition for "Successful": Have paved out a career, dressed nicely for work everyday, happy with their lifestyle, top earners... *Haiz* If I have been going school regularly and given an admittance to University, graduate with merits, I would have a good job on hand right now. Yar yar yar, it's wrong to skip school but i'm glad i see the real world through a different way and found all my friends and Joel along my road to survival. But i'm still very envious of my classmates!

Oh... I'm so jealousss!!! Awwww... :p

Wrong Attitude

Eversince i started working about 8 years ago, i realise some people really is damn F**K UP! They are out to ruin other people's life by choosing to be so called "smart"!

"The Apprentice", recent episode (shown last nite) is about 2 guys fighting the battle to become Donald Trump's Managment Executive. Both of them will lead a group of 3 other executives whom some of them were teammates before.

Kwame (1 of the 2 final contestants) picked this girl, Omarosa as his executive. They were given a task, to oversee Jessica Simpson's concert. Due to some miscommuications, Omarosa received a call from the Logistics Coordinator during dinner. The Logistics Coordinator voice out her concerns about some issues, Omarosa replied that she's having dinner and will get back to her. The very next day, the same Logistics Coordinator called the group while they were having a discussion (at that point she was quite pissed) and she told Kwame (the team leader) about Omarosa ignoring the issues which she brought up the nite before. Kwame checked with Omarosa. She simply denied everything! Omarosa's answer: "I did received a call. When i return her call, she wasn't around." Omarosa lied about her conversation with the Logistics Coordinator! What a gal! This is the kind of person i really hate working together with! No need to say anymore.. I believe you know what i mean. *shaking head*

Picture another scenario: "R", very experience but very expensive staff. Really f**k people to get them to get their projects done. Working towards his own benefits, he choose to embezzle company's funds and report work whenever he like (giving excuses to stay away from office). Let's make it simple.. If you are the boss, you will definitely sacked him, rite? What if you are colleagues, will you want to work with people like "R"?? Will you? Will you?

I won't.... Morale of the story, give your boss a break! :)

What happen to the 12th?

Last nite, i was having steamboat dinner with Joel and Jane. 3 of us were buzy slurping the hot & spicy Tom Yam soup when suddenly my attention was immediately drawn to the TV like a magnet..! SI (Singapore idol)! *I'm a reality show TV freak*

Most of our attention were switched from our dinner to SI! First to perform was Leandra, then the rest of the contestants. Jerry, Christopher, Maia, Taufik, Beverly (it was damn bad), David, Daphne, Jeassea, Olinda, Sylvester...Where's Candice?!!! The 12th contestant? What happen to SIN " Alicia Keys"?? 3 of us were shocked that she didn't perform. Immediately after dinner, we went home and checked. True enough, she withdraw from the competition due to some personal reasons! What a pity.. Well, without Candice, the show will still go on.. *Haizzz*

SGP do have alot of talented singers who are just not given an opportunity to perform. SGP is a small country with a population of over 4million citizens. We can get expatriates to work in SGP to boost SGP's economy, but to boost SGP's music scene, we need our own people to stand out and WOW the rest of Asia/World that "YES, SGP DO HAVE TALENTS"! Easier said than done.. :)
