We had a small come-together dinner a Vila'ge Heeren yesterday. It went from a reservation for 10 to 12 to 15!

The more the merrier.

There was Me & Joel, Lim & Shan, Cookie, Espen, Sheryl, Wilin, Shawn, Jerome & Nat, Cammy & Jiron, Danny & brother and Mark (he only came after dinner).

Having dinner and as usual, there are talks about WOW.

Joel and his cake.. hahaha! I bought this because all of us were extremely full and Vila'ge cake is pathetically small!

Jakarta? Bangkok? KL & Genting?

Updated on 25May: After some shopping around and great airlines' promo, we're going BKK!! Wahahaha..

My mom wants me to accompany her for a short trip during the school hols..

Can you imagine? Me, a travel trade staff going for a short trip during the school hols?? It's not right but then again.. She's my mom.

We considered a few places but everything seems so expensive!!

Jakarta - SQ had a $60 promo last week. Me and my mom wanted to go but my brother cant take time off, so we had to give Jakarta up. My brother is in Jakarta running the gaming business for my cousin.. They gamed to sell.

Bangkok - Airasia also had a $4.99 promo last week. With 2 nites 3* hotel stay and both way airport taxes, it will merely cost us less than $200 per person. But she can only go during school hols which is more ex.. Anyway, i'm glad we didn't go.. BKK is a bit unstable now and yesterday afternoon, a bomb went off in a telephone booth opp the palace. It's not a destructive bomb but it's good enough to make me stay away from BKK for a while.

Then my mom suggested..

Mom: Why don't we go Genting?? It's been a while since i last went Genting..
Me: Then what am i supposed to do at Genting when you go gambling the whole day??!
Mom: No la, if you go, i won't spend my whole day in the casino..
Me recalling the last time we went (a few years ago), she did spend her whole day in the casino.
Me: You decide la.. But i don't want to spend 2nites in Genting.. If we go, we go 1 nite in Genting and the other in KL.
Mom: Ok lor.. I go jio Nick and my colleagues so we can drive up together.

I don't mind going to KL and Genting. The last time i went? Almost 2 years ago..

Saw the news on TV yesterday, Malaysia is a destination that i will avoid.. I don't want to be robbed at knife's point; i don't want to beaten up by the thugs and i don't want to come home injured and penniless!

Now... Where shall we go?
