Getting ready

for my conference in Sydney. I'm leaving for Sydney tomorrow morning for a 4 days conference.

It's not my 1st time travelleing overseas for work. I've travelled to Australia, China and Taiwan as a tour leader before.. But this time, it's slightly different. I'm not there as a tour leader but am attending a conference with the rest of my colleagues. Never been to a conference, so am a bit lost. God, bless me greatly with the conference. Give me the wisedom i need. Thank you Abba!

Although conference scares me, i have something else to reward me after the conference...

PERTH!! Never been to Perth. Always think that Perth is a BORING destination.. But now? I will have to eat my words. From what i read and research, Perth is full of activities. Anyway, Joel is going to meet me in Perth. He will be there a day earlier to meet up with Sam and we'll fly back SIN together on 10Oct. :)

They've got offshore, beach and bridge fishing which is perfect for Joel and he is really looking forward to it.. Joel's so excited about the fishing scene in Perth that Glenn is complaining to me. About Joel pestering him all week, showing him all the websites about the catches there. :p

Glenn Glenn.. You can't blame Joel. After all Joel knows you like fishing as much as him, he's just sharing his excitment with you, a fishing fanatic. Don't worry we'll take as much pictures as we can.. Maybe, next time you can join us to Perth for more fishing! :)

For me, they've got good snorkeling sites (it's cold there i'm really crazy to even think of it), famous fish and chips (Fish! How can i not love eating them?), original apple strudel (Best in the world! Apple Strudel originate from Fremantle Perth) and SHERIDAN FACTORY OUTLET ( Mom needs 2-3 sets, i need 2-3 sets too.. That's 4-6 sets! Shit.. Our luggage will be overeight..)!!! ^_^

Can't wait.. Can't wait!

Perfect Game.

300, 12 strikes in a row. Not easy but can be done.

See.. Rachel did it!

Perfect Game. You don't see this often. It can only be seen during...

8 Pins Tap! wahahahaha..

Usually we have to go for 10 pins, right? For this weekly Monday game, as long as you strike 8 pins in your 1st throw for every frame, it's considered a strike. A blue cross.. A "fake" strike, a "gei eh" strike. Get it? A true 10 pins strike commands a red cross if you realised..

Anyway, Joel and his bowling khakis decided to go for their 1st competition. It wasn't a success but it's most definitely a boost of morale for all of them. There were 24 lanes reserved and per lane there were about 3.5 bowlers.. That's 84 bowlers!

Lane open for pratice.. Everyone just cheong and roll their ball. What a sight. 84 bowlers queueing up one after another to roll their ball.. It's like a sushi belt, 1 sushi after another passing your table.

Glenn, Joel and Shaun. 3 brave souls joining their very 1st competition. It's a morale booster and even though they didn't do quite well, they still had fun.

I have a feeling this 8 Pins Tap shall become a weekly event for them.. -.-

Joel and his obsession

Bowling.

He has his own shoes, bag, ball and ball cloth bag. -.-

Here's a clip of Joel and his 'Mentor' Ben.

Joel's

Joel's learning and getting tips from Ben. He started out at below 100, now his average is 130.

Ben is GOOD. Ben's hook is scaaaarie... His average is 200 and above when he's not practising.
