Doors open for business, not charity

"Jia ba liao..."

That's what i said when Joel replied me.

All this just happened a while ago.. We just came back and immediately after lunch, Joel packed some stuffs leaving to Company E, upstairs to service their lights.. So i asked him...

Me: "Are we going to charge them for this call of service?"

Joel: "No..."

Me: "Huh? Why?

Joel: "Because they bought their own lights and they need help to fix the lights.."

Me: "Free labour?"

Joel: "Yup."

Me: "Jia ba liao...!"

Do you get the story?? (".)?

You open your doors for business and not charity.. Therefore, you are mentality prepared to provide the best service you can provide for your paying clients, right? So.. When your so-called paying client (their project or job has been completed many months ago) asked you to fix the lights they bought, what do you do? You charge them labour, right??

But.....

"You!!! (This particular company that used to give Joel's Company quite alot of business) Treated us like your back-and-call when you're not giving us anymore business to provide you that kind of service you expect!! SO, GO F**K THE WALL, you miserable f**k!"

Woahhhhh..... That's fierce! *blush*

Anyway, i'm sure you get what i mean, don't you?

Back from Sepang & Kuala Lumpur

Came back from Malaysia late last night at 1.30am. Suppose to go Zouk for Marco V but we were too tired to do anything and besides today...

This morning, me and Joel went to pick up some tarts from Melanie.. She bought me some tarts. I love tarts, but my favourite is Crystal Jade's EGG TARTs! *drool*

Anyway, she wants to share the tarts with me because she loved them and its home made.

Hmmm... What a big bag for tarts!

Ooo.... How lovely they're! Every strawberries are cut in heart shape with generous jelly on top. And the crust? Tasted like cheesecake!! Yummy!

Dreams that you don't fancy

Yup... Me have been having dreams recently.

Dreams frequent me so often that my 'beauty sleep'?? Has become a fear to me... You know, when you dream, your body will be resting but your brain will be 'super active' and it somehow affect your sleep when you most needed the rest after a long day.. Yup, that's me, every night.

Last night, it was 'ScARy'!!

The dream involved me, Joel and my ex, M. In the dream, me and Joel broke up (can't remember the reason, beside it's only a dream!). Then out of no where, M came and was very nice to me (more like wanting me to take him back...). Me wasn't very interested in patching with M, so i lived my life as usual hoping i can patch things up with Joel instead.. Then, i tried calling M.

(In my dream) I said out loudly, "M's no is 9 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.." But my finger will go for Joel's no! Do you ever remember that in your dream, when you dial someone's no, you will always key the no wrong?? *duh*double duh*

One fine day (in my dream again), i was in school and M came and pick me up in a taxi. Then he brought me to ROM!!!! *jia ba liao*

"No!!!!! Not you...! Joel..... "

And my eyes pop open (i think this is more scary than the nightmare..!) What a dreadful dream...

The morale of the story?? Don't eat seafood before your bedtime..??

It's just me feeling insecure about everything that is happening around me.. But a little more love from Joel will make me feel better! *grin*

The big '3'

Before i start, here's something for today's Birthday Girl!

Ok.. The big '3'. What's all this fuss about?!

Well, it's nothing really. It's all about hitting the age 30! And that will be me, Jane, Mavis and those born before year 1980!

"Yes! You! Born in 1977.. And you! Born in 1979.. "

Me will turn 30 in 3 years time and seriously? I'M NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT!! Because i'm still a child at heart.. I don't look like my age and i don't behave like one.. And... er... erm... I have a boyfriend who's younger than me and that gives me a reason to feel young?? :p

I just want to prolong my time before i hit 30 so that by the time i really turned 30, i will be a degree holder and going after the career i'm being dreaming all about! Yar, dream on....

But in the mean time, job seeking is my priority.. Am a team player, commission motivated, independent and multi-tasker. Any takers? :)

I'm going to miss you, Star Wars...

This episode will be exciting!! It will reveal Anakin Skywalker's dark side, thanks to Chancellor Palpatine [aka Darth Sidious, the wrinkled old man who leads (in low husky and slow tone) 'The Re-Pub-lik'].

It never cross my mind before, but now.. I starts to ponder, what will i do without Star Wars?!!!

What a YUCKY Mother's day!!

It's just not my day...

Went to buy a friend's birthday present. Asked for gift wrapped and the cashier told me that they don't provide box for purchases under a specified amount.. What the F**k?!! Never mind, me took my purchase and walked away.

From town, me took bus no 36 all the way to Parkway Parade. The journey took more than 45mins and by the time i reached, its almost 6pm.

I was thinking to myself, "Just in time to buy flowers and go for dinner with Mom and Jeremy before 7pm".

Made my way to the florist and found out that they only left carnations and tulips. Not my kind of flowers for my mom.. And their flowers suck!

"Well, all these unpleasant events will not ruin this day.."

Made a call to my Mom and this is what it's like:

Me: "Me at Parkway Parade already. You and Jeremy can make your way to Roxy Square (for dinner)."

My Mom: "Er..We still playing mahjong...." (There was a silence)

Me: "WHAT?!!! How much longer do i have to wait?"

My Mom: "Now playing 'West', so maybe an hour.."

Me: "WHAT?!!! You want me to wait for you an hour for you to finish the game? No!"

And i hang up on my Mom on Mother's Day! Shortly after, Me sent my brother a sms: If you guys wants to play, play all you. I'm going home.

My phone rang.. It's Jeremy, he's also one of the culprit..

Jeremy: "We coming down now, you wait for us.." (His background very quiet)

Me: "No need. Me waiting for taxi, going home. No mood to eat."

The morale of the story? I'm mean to my mom on Mother's Day because she's the one who jeopardise the dinner. I called and confirm with her the dinner few hours back and she's aware of what's going to happen.. In the end, she wants me to wait for her due she haven't finish her mahjong session!

What is this nonsense?!! Since mahjong is so important, she can play all she wants.. I don't care! I have to teach her a lesson for being so obsess with gambling. So what if you're my mom? It doesn't mean what you do is acceptable.. Like:
1) Playing mahjong or CNY gambling session and asking your children to wait for you till the sessions are over.
2) Changing handphone every 3-6months like nobody's business.
Other than that, she's a fine old lady..

Well my yucky day didn't just end there.. Me waited for taxi at Parkway's Taxi Stand and when's it's my turn, me board the taxi, closed the door, put my barang barang (3-4bags of stuffs and of course, my bag) and said,"Woodlands Crescent".

Then the very 'nice' uncle said,"Huh? Woodlands? Sorry i don't have time to go Woodlands, i don't want to go. Can you take a cab behind?"

Me: "Uncle, you don't have any signboard saying you're changing shift or going anywhere in particular. I don't see why i should change taxi..."
(I don't agree taxi-driver choosing customers when they're in a queue, especially when there's no signboard indicating changing shift! They have a right to choose if they displayed the signboard, other than that, BIG MISTAKE!!)

Taxi-driver: "Pai say la.. You can take the cab behind."

Me: "I will lodge a complaint against you!"

And i did... >.<
