Nikkie's birthday cake

It's Nikkie's birthday on Sunday but we only get to celebrate it yesterday.

We bought her a strawberry cake. Dogs nowadays are like kids.. They have toys to play with, food and shelter over their head, parks dedicated to them, schools for proper upbringing, salons for grooming, studios for makeovers, matching making services for breeding and cakes for their big day.. What a life!

Our 1st try, she panicked because they're not allowed on the table. Our 2nd try, she was distracted with all attention on her. Our 3rd try, we forget to lit her candle.

Happy 1st Birthday Nikkie! Birthday girl dreaming away... *Haiz*

Jennat and her precious 'whiner', Nikkie.. :p

The 5 rascals digging in.. It's the 1st time they had cake.. And they ENJOYED it very much.

The cake must be delicious.. Because....... We saw all 5 of them going after each other's slice of cake! Bubbles went after Furbie's and Nikkie's slice. Snowie stayed put at her bowl and ate every bit of it, growling whenever any one of them came near hers. Furbie walked away, only enjoying the cake after Joel's mom fed her. Spoilt! *haiz* Nikkie had to snatched away her remaining small slice from Bubbles and Angel went around looking for more after finishing hers.

IT W A S M A D ! :)

By the way, do you find Furbie very familiar looking? Hmmm... I don't know but i find that she resemble.....

Sesame Street's Barkley! Don't thye look-a-like?! :)

Zoukout

It was F A N T A S T I C...!!!! Can't believe Jane, Mavis and Jiron gave this shit a miss! *tsk tsk tsk*

Me, Joel, Danny, Serene, Ming and Kenny made our way to Sentosa from Tiong Bahru.. Guess what? It took us 2hours to step into Zoukout!! The traffic to go into Sentosa, the traffic to maneuver around in Sentosa, the 30 parking lots left at Beach Carpark, the wait for the shuttle bus, the long walk from Beach Carpark to Siloso Beach and the ultimate long queue to beat and cut! And that took us 2hours...! By the time we dashed to the dancefloor, it was slightly after 2am and Nick Warren was half way through his 2 hours gig. Whew Heng ah... We didn't miss Armin's gig!

When we just arrived, the crowd was raving to Nick.

The 2hours journey to reach was definitely worth all the trouble! The weather was cool (it rained in the afternoon), the sand was cool for touch, the wind, the music was good superb marvelous, the lasers and stage setup was breathtaking! Everything's good.. When Armin took over Nick, it was PURRRFECT!! I like you Nick, but Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten are on top of my hit list.. Sorry Nick, but still.. You have my support and cheers! :D

We moved nearer to the stage where it's comfortable and there are space!

Approx. at 4am, a strong gush of wind blew the whole of Siloso.. Me looked up and noticed a very quiet orange sky looming over Siloso.. Just as i looked down, it started to drizzle. Being able to attend this annual event, almost everyone cheered for the cool descend. The atmosphere got more insane and you could see people getting hyper. There was 'enjoyment' on their face and the drizzle with the lasers were spectacular! Nice..

Moments later, it started raining.. *bleah*

Many ran for covers, many stayed and continued. By then, me was shivering in cold and Joel was too shag to continued (he went site to shift 2 tonnes of sand earlier before we came Zoukout).. We decided that it was too cold to party and we left for home.. The wait for the shuttle bus, the countless of prayers for the cashcard machine to work, the 20mins journey ride home was a struggle.. But we're glad that we were at Zoukout and that we enjoyed every moment with Nick and Armin!

Will upload a few pictures soon.

51

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to Mamaaaaaa...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
GOD bless you with health, strength and wealth! AMEN!

My mom the-chio-bu-who-wakes-up-at-6am-for-gym-every-morning, is 51 today. We had dinner last night at AMK's famous crab beehoon (Ave 3 Blk 232's Mellben). Delicious! I'm still drooling for more beehoon.. *drool*slurping my drool up*

Me ordered a banana chocolate cake especially for her, recommendation by Melanie! Thanks Melanie, you sure have alot of lobang! Anyway, the cake not only look nice, it's taste? Superb! Ths is my first time trying this bakery who's also a supplier. Refer to my sidebar's Recommendation under Jims Deli. Call to order, they do not have ready cakes for walk-in. See how nice the cake is..

$38 for a kilo cake..

Mama's happy with the cake and the attendance.

You know, she was so shy cutting the cake, she blew the candles out first before we can sing her a birthday song. In the end, we sang so loud that we've got almost everyone's attention. And there were these 2 aunties who walked over and took a look at my mom's cake.. hehehe

That's not all.. Me ordered bouquet of 12 roses for her to be delivered to her office this morning. As expected, she left office before the roses were delivered... *haiz* What a surprise.. Anyway, she received a call from her colleague telling her about the roses. She called me immediately and thank me for the arrangement. She was happy.. Money well spent! :D

Beside making my mom happy, i've received a call today. This call made my day like how i made my mom's day.. I've been offered employment with this particular company! Thank you God! You've been listening to my prayers! Hallelujah! Sorry, no further details until appointment letter has been sign. :p
