Obsession..

Today's topic, Obsession.

This reminds me of a call i received a few days ago. An unexpected call from Evon.

Evon: "Meeeee......"
(My goose pimples standing..)

Me: "What???!!

Evon: "Kimura so cute hor....!"

Me: "Huh??"

Evon: "He's so cute lor.. Can't take it."

Me: "Huh? You call me to tell me this??!!!"

Evon: "Yar.. I'm watching his show now.. My Kimura is so cute!!!"

Me: "Huh? What about your Aniki?"

Evon: "Kimura is so cute lor..."
(She somehow change subject or she just too busy admiring Kimura Takuya. And the weirdest thing is, i can sense her 'LOVE' for him is everywhere in her bedroom when she call me!)

Me: "Huh? OK. Bye!"

In the past when we are in Kenair, i will be crazy about Kimura Takuya and she will be crazy about Aniki Takeshi (aka Jin Cheng Wu). And now, she's very obsess with both men and me? I'm very obsess with going abroad for holidays! Very rich hor... Not! :p

"Heaty"...

Woke up yesterday morning, feeling weird.. So weird that i never had these symptoms or 'feels' before..

Went to the toilet and i found my mouth area..? FULL OF ULCERS!! (".)?!!

This problem started about 2 weeks ago when my tolerance for chilli changed drastically.. So bad so that a bit of chilli, my lips and mouth will be burning and i have to stop whatever i'm eating... Those who knows me well, knows that i can't do without chilli and am a chilli padi lover.

Well, with my Bangkok trip coming soon, i have to be in good shape and not fall sick(reminded me of Krabi trip in Oct'04)... *haizzzz*

Since yesterday, i have been drowning myself with the (in)famous 'Snake'-'Grass'-'Water' with a pinch of salt.. My ulcers are getting slightly better but not fully recover yet. So for the next few days i will have to drown myself with the 'Snake'-'Grass'-'Water'. Help me...

Hungry..... *fainting*

Argh...... My lunch is not in yet! It's 3.05pm on a Friday afternoon and my lunch is not here yet! I'm fainting...... From Hunger. *stomach grumbling*

Me and Joel normally lunch-in due we have to be in the office to pick up phone calls and to entertain any 'pop-in' suppliers.. Today as usual, we standby in the office whilst they went to a meeting. Me have been waiting since 2pm and they are not back yet..... :( *sobbing*

Anyway, i'm leaving for Bangkok next Saturday, my tickets, tour and hotel are booked and paid. Then Suzanah tell me that her colleague went Bangkok over the NY period and realised that 'things' are not as cheap as before..

Me: "Huh? You sure anot.. Do they know where to go in Bangkok?" (Still doubting Suzanah's words)

Suz: "Sure, Ah Me.. My colleagues say the things are more expensive and can hardly bargained like before.."

Me: "Huh? Why??"

Suz: "Not very sure lei.. Heard all the things markup higher because of the tsunami.."

Me: "Huh..." (Speechless)

I really hope what Suzanah's colleague say ain't true.. It will not only affect Thailand's tourism (places like Bangkok la, Chiang Mai la, Koh Samui la, etc), it will also affect Thailand's reputation of being cheap and be a King and Queen there.... No..............!

Well... *haiz* I can only verify this issue myself when i'm in Bangkok.. Bless my shopping trip please!

What a day!

Had a small Birthday party on 08Jan'05, last Saturday. Boy, was it tiring!

My day started at 8am in the morning with my mom banging my bedroom door. And i went back to sleep after responding her.. But knowing that i have something very important to do, me have no other choice but to wake up and go marketing with my mom..

Marketing with my mom was fine, she paid for the food and me helped her carried. We even bought breakfast and the whole trip lasted less than 1 hour.

We went home and my mom immediately sprung into action! She cleaned and boiled the chicken parts for the soup. It may seems easy cleaning the chicken parts but the fact is, she took an hour to clean the parts thoroughly which are inedible. After that, she left the house for Batam for some business trip with her friend.

As for me, i stayed in the kitchen cleaning, cutting and marinating the food i bought. By 1.30pm, my back was aching, my fingers were all 'pruney' and 'spicy' and my legs were aching with all the standing! Couldn't take the torture anymore, i jumped onto my bed and 'concus' for the rest of the afternoon.

As time drew nearer to the dinner, some of the invited guests couldn't make it for the dinner. Suzanah's mom was hospitalized, Anne was down with fever and Evon thought she was scheduled to work in the morning but in fact she was scheduled for the afternoon shift. Haizzz....

Other than that, many of the invited guests arrived and queued for the dinner. You see, my dining table is so small that it can only contain 6 people per round. So everyone took turns to eat and half way through the dinner, i realised that there weren't enough food! Therefore, Joel had to make a trip down to the nearest supermarket to buy some more food to top up. The dinner went well except for a few issues i had with my brother.. Other than that, everyone seems happy and full.. I think.. :p

Eve of my 27th Birthday...

Arghh...! i will be 27 tomorrow..! Arghh....! Nightmare! :(

I never thought that age will be catching up with me so soon.. 27! My goodness.. But at least i'm not the oldest among the lot! Ooops! Wa ha ha ha ha ... :p

Congratuations to ANNE and LAWRENCE!!

I have been waiting for this big day since Anne and Lawrence's ROM 2 years ago.. And finally, the wait was over..

Party rating: Roof Raiser! Woahhhh!

The night started with rounds and rounds of cocktail.. I was anxious to see Anne.. She told me she have slim down for this very special day of hers. Well.. Indeed i had a surprise.. A big one!

She was slimmer than what she was on the very first day we know each other.. She looked really nice.. See below!


Dinner started with a video clip of their 'Love Story'.. They had pictures and an animation of how they knew each other, the 1st date they had and the proposal that melted Anne's heart.. It was very nicely done.

As usual, after the clip, the newly wed marched in with many well-wishes from the guests. On our table, there was a bowl of rose petals. Me, Karine, Evon, Jessie and Grace went forward to the couple and showered them with the petals! Then there was the "card-cutting" ceremony.. Wait a minute! Card-cutting? Orh.. you mean, cake cutting...! Chay...

Half way through the dinner, we welcomed back the couple again. But before the march in, they showed us a video clip on the eventful day.. How Anne and her family prepared for the big day, how Lawrence and his buddies were sabotaged by the Bride's sisters, the church wedding and blessings from Anne's siblings and of course a gratitude message from both the couples themselves.. And they marched in to the hall. To our surprise, they are wearing something very different! Lawrence in shirt and jacket and his bottoms? Bermudas with sneakers! Anne? She wore a gown but its slit open, revealing her high cut 'pink' sneakers! See below!


Throughout the dinner there were constant well-wishes sms(es) broadcasted on the screen.. We sent 1 sms too.. It goes like this.. "Dearest Anne and Law, have a very blissful, everlasting and a football team of Hello Kitties!!Love from, THE CHIO BU of Table 6!" Shit.. I left out the word "marriage"... *haiz*

Then come the sabotage session!!! We created 3 dishes from the dinner.. All mixed with whatever sauces you can find on the table of a wedding party.. Vinegar, Soya Sauce, Pepper, Chilli Sauce, Green Chilli,etc.. We picked 3 dishes and mixed all the sauces in. The 3 dishes were given well-wishes names to commenrate the event. Besides the dishes, a special drink containing beer, sprit, tea and green chilli was brewed for them. Then come the "sporting" Law.. He ate and drank without hesitation. And we ended the sabotage with them kissing each other for a minute... With Boon.. *haiz...EXTRA!*


Overall, we all had fun! We teased about the MCs, teased the couple and talked alot of rubbish and issues that are happening around us.. A wedding party well-planned! Good work Anne and Law!

Lastly but not least, Me hereby wishes them a very blissful and happy marriage! Hoping to attend your baby full month party soon!! :p
