Packed to the max!

The crowd yesterday was mad!!

1st of all, when Joel came to pick me up, it was about 5.30pm. By the time we reached Jade, it was say 5.40pm? And there was this last min rush for everything! Everything! The chef and kitchen staffs are busy preparing the food, while the rest of us were busy cleaning the chairs, arranging and make do with the ugly scratchy tables.

6.00pm, the table guys are finally here to change the table top to cream.. And minutes later, we had our 1st guests, Eddie's family! OMG! And we weren't even ready.. The tables, the pots, the rags, the sauces were lying everywhere! They were here earlier than we expected.. Can you imagine the stress?! Anyway, it was a messy start BUT! It all turned out well..

The shop was full, everyone enjoyed the soup, the food, the secret recipe chilli, the stupid hokkien-mee-smoke from next door and of course, the company!

Today will be another long long looooooong night again...
