Offshore Fishing?

I MEANT, WASTING TIME...!
We were scheduled for an offshore fishing trip this morning with James and 2 other fishermen. We arrived at Keppel Club (near HarbourFront) about slightly after 8am. When we left, it looked like a lovely day.. *gulp*
Saw this lovely sail boat at the harbour. It's called Singapore's Flower..
The fishermen were getting ready their rods for Open Season. And they were really very serious at getting ready.. *roll eyes*
It has been quite a while since Joel went offshore fishing.. He looks.. Happy?
1st stop? Fishing for baits. Took us about 30mins just to reach some buoys (Only God knows where we were then) to fish for baits.. The baits they were fishing for were this particular small fish called Tamban? Tammun? Tambun? Don't know what it's called la.. All i know is Nasi Lemak's fried fish!
Joel and his baits.
The Captain's assistant helping Joel clear his catch.
Squids were also used as baits..
This is 2/3 of what we caught... 70% of them were caught by Joel.
Surprisingly, Joel was good at it.. He kept reeling in and by the time we left for real action fishing, there were more than 50 baits to use.
Sad to say, the weather wasn't that lovely... It rained while we were in the open sea.
That's not the "best" part.. The best part?
All 5 fishermen went home EMPTY HANDED!!!!!!
Thanks to Captain "Lousy" Beng.

The ride back..
